BSA Great Smoky Mountain Council Calling all Scoutmasters/Den Leaders
The Council and the Shooting Sports Committee needs your help in order for the council to introduce Pistol shooting to our Scouts.
What: NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting – Instructor Led course
Who can attend: Any 21-year old or older adult**. (NRA membership not required.) Seating is limited to 12 participants.
Cost: $45.00 includes all teaching materials, firearm use, and ammunition. Please sign up as soon as possible for us to order the appropriate materials for this course. This is an all-day course with range time.
Course Goal: Develop the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.
Additional information: Successful completion of this course satisfies the basic course requirement to become an NRA Pistol Instructor.
Schedule: Saturday-Check in 8:00 am Sharp!
Location: Camp Buck Toms, training lodge and rifle range.
Food: Bring a lunch and any desirable snacks for the day.
