Toqua District Webelos Rush
November 2, 2018 - November 4, 2018
Do you have a den of Webelos girls? Are you interested in helping to form a female Scouts BSA Troop? Troops can’t be formed before February 2019, but the planning has to start well before then. Leaders who have already worked with their Charter Organization to establish a female Scouts BSA troop are encouraged to attend and share in-formation about their upcoming unit.
What is Webelos Rush?
A joint Webelos and Boy Scout overnight cam-pout. Get a chance to interact with different troops from the Toqua District as they help to guide you through the differences between Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. As such, portions of the Scouting Adventure and Camper achievements will be completed (see Webelos handbook).
What is the cost?
Early registration through 10/19—$20/attendee
Includes patch and Saturday night dinner/Sunday morning breakfast.
Registration ends 10/31 at 5 PM EST. No walk-ons.
Each troop will be assigned a different Webelos group to host throughout the campout, similar to Rush Week in college. Webelos will rotate through different camps throughout the day. Troops will provide the meals for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. All participants are required to provide their own sack lunch on Saturday, as there will not be time to cook and prepare at that time.
