There are four primary areas that will be impacted by these program updates: Bobcat, Adventures, Webelos/Arrow of Light, and Awards.
Bobcat will now be the first Adventure for each rank. No more trying to get your new Scout to Bobcat while the rest of their den is doing another Adventure – so much less confusing!
In addition to updating the Adventures, many have been streamlined to make it easier for a pack to work on an Adventure at the same time – so helpful for packs that have mixed dens!
A big change is that the Arrow of Light is now a completely separate rank with its own handbook. But there are some important things to know about this for rising fourth-graders.
It’s not too early to start planning for these changes. In fact, there are plenty of options for summertime FUN!
