Alumni

Stay Connected!

As a Scouting alumnus/a you benefited from the ideals of Scouting in your youth. You can still benefit as an adult. Getting — or staying — re-engaged with Scouting can extend the transformative experiences you had as a Scouting participant, both personally and professionally.

LOCALLY

REUNIONS

Within the great Smoky Mountain Council, we host Summer Camp reunions as well as Camp Pellissippi and Camp Buck Toms staff reunions. Watch our council calendar for upcoming events.

CONVOCATION OF EAGLE SCOUTS

The annual Convocation of Eagle Scouts in East Tennessee gathers generations of Eagle Scouts in our service area for an evening of fellowship and reminiscence. Spouses and guests of Eagle Scouts are also invited.

VOLUNTEER

The most gratifying of the many ways you can remain a part of Scouting is by volunteering. As a former Scout, you almost certainly remember adult leaders and other volunteers who helped shape the person you are today. Now you can return the favor to a new generation of Scouts.

Units within the Great Smoky Mountain Council always need qualified adults at a variety of levels — unit leaders and assistant leaders, commissioners and committee members, merit badge counselors, and more.

We also encourage you to explore service to your local district or the Great Smoky Mountain Council as a committee member or other volunteer.
