Brotherhood

Responsible for guiding Ordeal members through the process of sealing their membership in the Order by attaining Brotherhood. They help members understand the requirements, help them with completion, and encourage active participation in the lodge along the way. They ensure that brotherhood candidates are prepared for their ceremony and know the weight of their decision and devotion.

• • Promotes participation in the Order and helps members prepare for brotherhood

  • Guides Ordeal members on the steps and requirements for Brotherhood completion

  • Assists members in preparing for their Brotherhood ceremony and understanding its meaning

  • Tracks Brotherhood eligibility and progress for lodge records and reporting

  • Works with event and ceremonies chair to ensure that Nimats (guides) are ready at the right time, and work within the schedule.

  • Serves as a role model of cheerful service and continued commitment to the OA’s ideals
