Please plan to join us for the Great Smoky Mountain Council Executive Board visit to the 2023 National Scout Jamboree, July 21-23, 2023, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia.
We will meet at the Sansom Scout Service Center Friday, July 21, at 4pm for a 4:30 departure – carpooling is recommended. We will stop for dinner on the way up to our hotel, the Best Western Plus in Beckley, WV. Room pricing is based on double occupancy and a continental breakfast is included.
We’ll leave the hotel Saturday morning to check in at the Ruby Welcome Center and to catch the bus to the Jamboree. We’ll spend the day at the Jamboree in the Scott Summit Center (the heart of NSJ programs) as well as having access to the VIP hospitality suite and have special VIP patches and neckerchiefs. Lunch will be on site. After a day filled with activities, we’ll head back to Beckley for a board dinner and a quiet evening.
We will depart West Virginia Sunday morning and stop for lunch on the way back to Knoxville.
