Secretary Job Description

The Lodge Secretary is responsible for managing all communications of the lodge. They ensure that information is accurate, organized, and shared with lodge leadership and members in a timely manner. They oversee the lodge’s emails, social media, silver fox, and any other information given out to the lodge

    • Oversees assigned committees and chairmanships as laid out in the LEC 

    • Records minutes at all LEC meetings and reports them at the next meeting for review

    • Oversees all lodge communications, including emails, silver fox, and other announcements via adding to and improving the Comms Plan 

    • Assists in coordination of lodge events/functions and supports other officers

    • Assists in any other tasks assigned by the Lodge Chief 

    • Overall role model of Scouting for the members of the Lodge
