Treasurer Job Description

The Lodge Treasurer is responsible for managing the lodge’s finances and memorabilia, ensuring both are handled responsibly and in support of the lodge’s mission. They work closely with the Lodge Adviser, Staff Adviser, and memorabilia committee to keep operations running smoothly.

Oversees assigned committees and chairmanships as laid out in the LEC

Maintains accurate financial records for the lodge and provides occasional reports at meetings.

Works with Lodge Advisor, Lodge Staff Advisor, and occasionally Council Scout Executive to approve lodge memorabilia, ensuring that it is done correctly and fits within our lodge’s memorabilia history.

Assists in coordination of lodge events/functions and supports other officers

Assists in any other tasks assigned by the Lodge Chief

Overall role model of Scouting for the members of the Lodge
