Vice Chief of Administration Job Description

The Vice Chief of Administration is the lodge’s second-in-command, assisting the Lodge Chief in leading the lodge and taking on their responsibilities in their absence. They also oversee important administrative functions to keep the lodge running smoothly. 

    • Oversees assigned committees and chairmanships as laid out in the LEC 

    • Assembles and runs the Lodge Bylaw review committee to review the bylaws yearly, recommending needed updates 

    • In charge of reviewing this document yearly

    • Serving as the acting Lodge Chief in their absence

    • Assists in coordination of lodge events/functions and supports other officers 

    • Assists in any other tasks assigned by the Lodge Chief 

    • Overall role model of Scouting for the members of the Lodge
