Vice Chief of Program Job Description

The Vice Chief of Program is responsible for overseeing all lodge programs and events, ensuring they are well-planned, executed smoothly, as well as engaging & productive. They work closely with event chairmen and committees to provide guidance and support that leads to quality lodge experiences.

    • Oversees assigned committees and chairmanships as laid out in the LEC 

    • Coordinates planning and execution of most Lodge events and activities throughout the year

    • Provides guidance and mentorship to event leadership, before and during events, ensuring successful programs

    • Promotes lodge participation and spirit at events, keeping members engaged

    • Assists in any other tasks assigned by the Lodge Chief 

    • Overall role model of Scouting for the members of the Lodge
