Scouting is about outdoor adventure: camping, hiking, canoeing, shooting, rock climbing, fishing, and countless other activities. But it’s about much more than that, too. For over 100 years, we’ve developed character, built confidence, and instilled a sense of service in our next generation.
The Great Smoky Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America is divided into six districts serving 21 counties in East Tennessee. Wherever you live, there’s a pack, troop, crew, ship, lab, or post led by dedicated volunteers associated with a school, church, or civic organization near you.
