What: NRA Basic Rifle Instructor
Who can attend: Any 21-year old or older adult**.
Cost: $185.00 includes all course materials, firearm use, and ammunition.
Please sign up as soon as possible for us to order the appropriate materials for
this course. This is an all-day course with range time.
Course Goal: To develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course. Successful completion of the NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting course is a pre-requisite to attending this course.
This course includes the NRA Basic Instructor Training Course (BIT) on Friday, which is required unless you have taken it within 24 months of the beginning of the Instructor course. If you are current on BIT, contact the Training Counselor prior to registration to provide a copy of your Course Completion card.
Course Time: Friday: 4:00PM – 10:00PM; Sat/Sun: 8:00AM – 6:30PM
Food: Meals will not be provided. Bring a lunch and any desirable snacks for the day.
** As per Federal law, all participants must be U.S. Persons as defined by 15 CFR § 772.1 and 22 CFR § 120.15.
