STEM Scouts Adventure to the American Museum of Science & Energy

Youth Protection for all adults must be current! RULES AND GUIDLINES TO THE GUIDE TO SAFE SCOUTING MUST BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES!
Bring in printed and completed health form AB.
We will be departing the office at 9:00 am via 15 passenger vans. We will spend the morning at the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE) then take a lunch break at Pizza Inn. After lunch we stop at AK Bissell Park, located between Pizza Inn and AMSE. We will return to AMSE to complete a scavenger hunt after an hour recess at the park. We will depart AMSE at 3:45 to return to the office. Scouts will have a snack while they wait for you to pick them up.
**In the event of inclement weather, we may utilize the game room/gym at the Oak Ridge Civic Center or spend more time at AMSE, we will let the kids vote**

⚛Scouts will have a chance to stop by the gift shop at AMSE

9:30-12:00…..Atom Smasher Program, Exploration
12:00-12:15…Travel to Pizza Inn
12:15-1:15…..Lunch buffet at Pizza Inn
1:15-1:30……Travel to AK Bissell Park
1:30-2:30……Play at Park
2:30-2:45……Travel to AMSE
2:45-3:45……Complete Scavenger Hunt
3:45-4:30……Travel to GSMC Office
4:30-4:45…….Snacks & Scout Pickup
