Annual Recognition Banquet
March 7, 2025
Please join us on Friday, March 7, 2025, for the Annual Recognition Banquet, to be held at 6:30 p.m. at Rothchild’s (8807 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923). The event will feature the presentation of the coveted Silver Beaver Award to a select group of deserving individuals who have distinguished themselves in their service to youth. Each year the Great Smoky Mountain Council, by authority of the National Court of Honor of the Boy Scouts of America, chooses individuals to receive this honor. The Silver Beaver is the highest award a local council can bestow upon an adult volunteer.
This will be an outstanding program that includes presentation of the 2024 Class of Eagle Scouts, the 2024 Silver Beaver Awards, National Outstanding Eagle Scout Awards, council Alumnus of the Year, Order of the Arrow’s Founder’s Award, and others.
The cost of the banquet is $55 per person, if paid on or before January 24, 2025. Units or families wishing to sit as a group need to register together to ensure assigned seats. After January 25, the fee will be $60 per person. So that we can provide attendance numbers to catering, the deadline for registration is January 31, 2025.

The Great Smoky Mountain Council is proud to present its fourth set of Council Shoulder Patches (CSPs) commemorating the annual class of Eagle Scouts and Silver Beaver Awards. There is one standard CSP for each of the awards. We are also proud to offer a limited edition of the Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver CSPs for those who wish to help sponsor / underwrite the cost of the event.
