Annual Recognition Banquet

Please join us on Thursday, February 29, 2024, for the Annual Recognition Banquet, to be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Place (205 Bridgewater Road, Knoxville, TN 37923). The event will feature the presentation of the coveted Silver Beaver Award to a select group of deserving individuals who have distinguished themselves in their service to youth. Each year the Great Smoky Mountain Council, by authority of the National Court of Honor of the Boy Scouts of America, chooses individuals to receive this honor. The Silver Beaver is the highest award a local council can bestow upon an adult volunteer.
This will be an outstanding program that includes presentation of the 2023 Class of Eagle Scouts, the 2023 Silver Beaver Awards, National Outstanding Eagle Scout Awards, council Alumnus of the Year, Order of the Arrow’s Founder’s Award, and others.
The cost of the banquet is $40 per person, if paid on or before January 25, 2024. Units or families wishing to sit as a group need to register together to ensure assigned seats. After February 25, the fee will be $50 per person.
