Friends of Scouting is our council’s annual fundraiser that helps provide support for the 10,000 plus families we serve. Making up nearly half our council’s budget, Friends of Scouting is paramount to the success of our local Scouting programs. Contributions made to Friends of Scouting help maintain our two council camps, Camp Buck Toms and Camp Pellissippi, provide resources for district and council led activities, enable numerous in-person training opportunities, and allow for full-time professional support for each registered member. Most importantly, donations made to Friends of Scouting ensure that registration, uniforms, handbooks, training, and camping opportunities are available to ALL local families who wish to participate in any one of our programs.
